Ulrike Wietzorrek completed her architectural studies at Technische Universität München (Technical University of Munich), ETSA Barcelona, and SCI-Arc in Los Angeles, before going on to practice at firms in Munich, Mexico City, and Los Angeles. I found this book to be incredibly thorough, but is deals only with commercial and industrial flat roofs. It only made passing references to residential timber-framed construction.This is an engineer's book, not anything a DIYer would ever need... unless you're DIYing the downtown civic center.
A good source of technical references. A bit pricey but, it is a valuable resource for sure. A typical format and standard you can expect from Detail Magazine's publications.
Solid reference for architects. Pretty much what you would expect from the Detail series.
