Thank you Andrew Steed!This book has come into my life at a very good time, my life has been at a crossroad for a few years now-stuck would be a better word. As I spent the last couple days devouring Andrew's words, I ran through a gamut of emotions and came to the realization that I have been missing myself alot. With the 13 steps outlined in the book I can now work on reclaiming true self! My recommendation is to gift this book to yourself (or friends/family) and have a good read. I am implementing a few things right now with a few more points to come in time. My thanks again to Andrew for his words-wisdom-truth.... Believe me this book will not disappoint!

My personal experiences have shown me that magic can be found wherever I choose to perceive it. I do not have to travel around the world in conspicuous clothes as a self-proclaimed wizard like the author did. He really did not present anything new for me. I found this book to be rather dull and boring. It did not hold my attention in a magical sort of way.

While the book did not necessarily bring anything new into my life (years / decades of earth medicine & yoga based spirituality have grounded that for me), Andrew's take on things is fresh and frankly, magical. His stories are endearing and make his points very clear.If you follow his 13 steps, you will create a more magical & happy life. I recommend this book to ALL people needing a bit more positive energy in their lives.

I’m reading this book and thinking as I’m highlighting passages, “wham” a truth, a piece of wisdom. I wish I could on my own, word, define and OWN these wisdoms. Well, I’ve been working and these words are fast forwarding me to going where I want to be. I’ve been on a path for a long time and I’ll take all the help I can get. Be the magic, not the mundane! This is a wondrous deeply mystical book that is great fun to read. It covers many themes from food to forgiveness, all of which are united by the importance of being present and aware in all our actions.Some compelling stories are used to illustrate the themes, such as the concept of most of our lives being lived in a series of boxes, or the value of our time and money when or lives are at stake.

I bought two copies a few weeks ago and really enjoyed how it reads. The format is easy yet full of deep wisdom. Andrew shares lots of personal, authentic stories with each of the 13 steps. This brings the book alive and infuses it with the wonderful magic that he offers all of us to find in our own lives. I also like that each of the 13 steps is set up as distinct and unique so that you can go back and visit a step when you feel you want to spend more time reflecting on it. I plan to pick this book up often to remind me to follow the steps so that I can create more magic and aliveness in my life. I hope you will too.

I truly enjoyed this kindle edition because of its variety in the Rock genre. Everything from the 60's to the 90's provides a little fun for everyone. Bill O'neill knows what he is talking about when he wrote this. His trivia books are outstanding and I can definitely recommend him

A strong quality map that has details of everything you'd want when travelling by road, or just figuring out where an airfield or train station are. Maybe not as good as a US type road atlas, but this will give a darn good idea of what's around and how to get there. With this particular map, Tanzania is the main focal point, with Rwanda and Burundi being little brothers. But, it still gives a good idea of both these other countries, and considering it's very hard to find a good map that has them on it in any detail, I'd highly recommend getting this. It's a map that will stay true for years to come.

We took the map on our visit to Tanzania and Kenya last fall. If you are visiting the Masa Mara and the Serengeti, the map is a good source and information about where you are going on your trip.

I travel all over the world and never go without one of these maps since they are durable and provide details not necessarily found in a travel book.

These Nat Geo maps are great. They are easy to use and take a beating.

Could not find GPS maps for the countries. This was surprisingly helpful for finding our way around. Did not have many of the unpaved roads in the national parks, but only licensed guides were allowed to drive there anyway. Found it really useful, especially when driving in Rwanda.

Great concept, but the small serif font, faint print, busy pages, mission tasks, and info details would be best for older kids. I'd say at least 4th or 5th grade and up. Also, check the Table of Contents to confirm you'll be going to the featured places - and spending enough time at them to go through all the parts necessary to find the scavenger hunt items! (I didn't think that through.) The layout, appearance, and missions would have overwhelmed and frustrated our 8yo. For younger kids, I'd recommend Kid's Travel Journal New York City by Jeff Sechler. I'm assigning 4 stars because it's not for all ages as described and because regardless of user's age, I think the print is too faint (although older kids may not care about that).

It was nice to see that Grand Central Terminal and the Brooklyn Bridge were even learning spaces. Sometimes when kids go on school trips they learn so much more than when they go on trips with their parents. That was before parents could get a tool like this one. Aragon has done all the hard work, all you need to do is follow her plan.Who won't want to search for a smiling food cart vendor in New York City?
